Please remember to Acknowledge the MIC and the NIH S10 award that brought us this instrument! Click here!
Our newest instrument, installed in 2020, the Zeiss Axio Observer inverted laser scanning confocal microscopy, LSM980 with Airyscan 2, Spectra-Physics MaiTai HP laser, and Becker-Hickl TCSPC FLIM system has the following features:
- 3-channel LSM with GaAsP detectors and spectral detection
- Airyscan 2 with Multiplex Mode for super-resolution and/or sensitive live cell imaging
- 1-photon lasers for confocal/Airyscan: 405, 488, 514, 561, and 639nm
- 2-photon: SP Maitai HP 690 – 1040nm
- Becker-Hickl Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) fluorescence lifetime imaging system (FLIM) with:
- BH SPC-150NX TCSPC card
- FLIM excitation lasers: 445, 488, 562, and 640nm
- 2-color detection with HPM-100-40 hybrid detectors (2)
- Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS)
- Live cell imaging with full dark incubation chamber (heating, humidity, CO2)
- Objectives:
- 10x air
- 20x air
- 40x/1.3 oil
- 63x/1.4 PlanApo oil
